How to Play Kalyan Matka: A Beginner’s Guide

7xBoss Team·20 July 2026 5 min read

Kalyan is the most-played Matka market in India. Here’s exactly how it works — open and close, ank and jodi — and how to place your first bid on 7xBoss.

Kalyan is the best-known Matka market in India, running every day with two results — an open and a close. If you’re new to it, the game can look confusing at first, but the core idea is simple. This guide breaks it down step by step.

The two results: open and close

Every Kalyan day has an open result declared in the afternoon and a close result declared later. Each result is a three-digit panna, and the last digit of the sum of those three digits is the ank (0–9). The open ank and close ank together form the day’s jodi.

The bids you can place

  • Single (ank): pick one digit 0–9 for the open or close.
  • Jodi: pick the two-digit pair for the day.
  • Panna: pick the full three-digit number.
  • Sangam: combine ank and panna across open and close for the biggest payouts.

Each bid type pays a fixed multiple of your stake if it wins — a single pays 9.5×, a jodi 95×, and it climbs from there. You’ll always see the exact rate before you confirm.

Placing your first Kalyan bid on 7xBoss

Start small, learn the rhythm of open and close, and never bet more than you’re happy to lose.

Kalyan’s timings are fixed each day. Check the market timings page for the daily schedule, and remember bidding closes shortly before each result.
